As we move out of February and into March, here's hoping the snow goes out with February. Our first event is just two months away - The Cinco de Mayo cruise at Kittanning Township Fire hall grounds on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Our club and fire company members will be working together to make this a profitable event for the fire company, so please plan to be there and ready to help.

Our first Cadet Cruise will be on Wednesday, May 19th. Bob Prunty's Ford Fairlane coupe will be featured on our first dash plaque of the year. At the recent club meeting, it was decided to put all 2010 Cadet cruise dates on the first dash plaque. Due to the impending Sheetz construction on the Cadet property, we're going to do a Cadet grounds clean up prior to the first Cadet Cruise - the plan is to create more parking on the west side of the restaurant. Saturday, May 8, with a rain date of Saturday, May 15, 9 AM for breakfast and 10 AM cleanup start. We'll need pickups, flat bed trailers, straps and such as we'll be loading and hauling George's collections from over the years and taking them to his farm over in Ford Cliff. Gloves, wide flat shovels and push brooms are needed also. Please plan to come and help, even if only to help eat the breakfast. The more helpers we have, the faster we'll be finished.

The Worthington firemen are having the Anything on Wheels Swap Meet on Saturday, April 3rd - starts at 7 AM - free entry to buy, $10 spaces to sell.

The 2010 Cadet Cruises are Wednesdays, May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15 and the special HAVIN Cruise on Wednesday, September 29. We'll also be doing the KALMAR Motors cruise for HAVIN in July.

The Executive Board reviewed and made a few changes suggestions to the club by-laws. By-laws will be updated and circulated to club members at the March 24 meeting.

This season, we plan to have two overnight trips and several day trips. Ideas are needed.

We still have 2 free AACA memberships, so if you have car hobby friends that might be interested, get the information out.

For the different events this season, we need goodie bag items and giveaways, so, if you have a source and good connections, please help with that.

Our next club meeting is Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Teresa's Royal Allegheny. Dinner at 6 PM and meeting at 7 PM.
